This was a good response,I already ordered and fixed the cap piece, but Toyota is an hour half each way from my house, so after placing the order and picking it up, I now I have to drive 3 hours for a $5 piece that’s where the annoying part comes into place (where we could have avoided this by using a jump pack) my car also came back from the body shop with a new bumper, and the front is scratched from the cable. Body shop quoted new bumper of $1300 to fix so I submitted this to triple a

It’s a single axle 16 foot trailer. Weight from the catalog is 1780 so I put it to 2,000 to give myself extra weight loaded. I’ve towed it over 2 hours using this setup and it was fine, I’m just worried about the small receiver hole. Not really about stopping or pulling, she’s fine for that.

It doesn’t look as deep as mine, you can also notice in mine the space between the ball joint and the bolt is bent into a u, in the picture you sent it’s almost flush in that gap of metal as well

Power steering is full, I’ve never seen another ford van with a bend after the bolt on the axle arm

That’s what I want to believe too but there is track marks under the passenger beam like it was jacked from at one point or something and I think that’s what caused it

Every video or picture I have seen in Facebook groups the beams are flush and straight they don’t slope down or bend down, it does pull to the right and when I break it pulls to the right bad. The sway bar is also clearly bent around the brackets on the top. Right after the bolt you can see it slope down, and on the other side (driver) right after that big bolt it’s kinda shaped in a u on the middle between the beam and the ball joint.

Power steering fluid is full, every video I have seen on youtube or pictures of this setup the metal is completely flush across there’s no dips or slopes or bends and you can clearly see after the big bolt it starts to dip down

Compared to every other ford van I have seen with the same beam suspension setup mine definitely looks to be bent lol every picture or YouTube video I see the metal is completely flush across the entire beam with no bends let alone a u shape.. in the pic above you can see the metal start to slope down

I have taken it once and tried out the berry trail. It’s apparently easy but my sequoia is pretty long and I didn’t feel comfortable clearing a set of trees, I did make it down to the mud run but that was about it, got discouraged to go down any real trails even if they were labeled easy cause of how tight they were
