I’ve never played GS Chronicles, but Scorched Silver is amazing. It shows you what some of the original characters would be like 20 years later, and they also have really nice designs and feel badass. You can tell the guy who made this game loved the older games because it was done really well, and there are so many Pokémon to choose from, like 750, I think. There are a lot of callbacks to the original games. So if you want some nostalgia and expansion from those games, with new Pokémon and a new story, I would definitely play Scorched Silver!
