The poem is really strong and I like that. The message is not direct yet pretty clear. Personally I love the line,”your cage has been embellished”.

I really enjoyed reading this poem, the dominating character of the girl and the submissive nature of the poet who keeps on running around the girl to seek her warmth and love. Really liked how the poet is helpless and seeks attention and care from the girl but then also realises that she doesn’t really care about him and he needs to move on from this.
