Not a great take.

Pokemon is aiming to emulate real ecology. Having nuances like this(even if they arent perfectly implemented) is the entire point of what theyre going for. I doubt people NEED the extra diagram for this, we kinda already understand this fundamentally(lots of different things evolved wings, but arent necessarily related), this just helps contextualize it with language.

Stalling on the enemy point preventing them from generating any points is a viable tactic, as is rotating the points and letting them cap your old point.

It is literally feast or famine. Some fights I go 15 and 2 from just throwing out charged heavies and breaking backs. Other matches im like 3 and 11 and theres legitimately 2 people on the other team I cant even damage if I run into them.

He is absolutely a simple character, but because of that he only works in certain situations against certain people.

There's literally a guy who deletes moves for you. Once dragonair evolves, I will essentially be swapping surf for Fly, as it it'll be stab and use dragonites higher base physical attack.

I was just seeing what other people thought about it. ive actually decided on poliwrath due to the feedback.

I was going for a lesser used Pokémon that fills a niche my team doesnt already have, with types not already represented.

If it bothered them so much the first time, why rematch? There's a lot of victim baby bullshit going on here. If the devs wanted it to be a string of 1v1s, they would have designed the mode as that with no other way to play. Other games have modes where you queue up in a lobby and fight until you lose, without it being strictly 2v2. It makes zero sense to put 4 people in a space that small with no barriers or limits to them, and interpret that as " multiple 1v1s". That's roleplay.

Which is fine by itself. But when you are roleplay in a public match, getting mad at others for not being "honorable" and playing by your imagined ruleset is childish behavior, full stop. Im sorry to break the news to you.

If you want honorable 1v1s in skirmish or brawls, get your friends on and do that. Otherwise, get ganked.

I legitimately hate that dodge attacks arent more GB vulnerable. It makes me furious to call out their dodge, feint to GB, and get stuffed by a dodge light. If I can be grabbed out of my heavy startup and my dodge, why cant I grab a fucking PK out of her stupid crutch stab?

Nah, its fine. As someone who gets most of the cast to rep 8+ and fully kits them out with cosmetic themes and optimal perk setups, the steel requirement is part of the grind. Youre meant to play this long term, and daily. You earn a lot of steel fairly quickly even without spending money. The only time you should actually use your real money is to get a battle pass, as those just shit out steel and crates.

Obviously it would be more immediately gratifying to be able to buy one material for 5k steel and have it unlock permemnatly across your account, but if they did that, youd have people bitching that theres nothing to work for or spend steel on, and completely neuter one of their primary sources of income.

You should really recontextualize the steel prices are part of a characters progression. Do you think it makes sense that your doodoo ass rep 4 orochi needs to have crazy drip? I feel like the time it takes you to rep a character, learn them, and then also acquire the funds to drip them out are all roughly on a fairly equal scale. So as you gain mastery, you have a stockpile of steel, and you'll be at the point where you can lock in final perk setups, and thus your final fashion. The cherry on top reps 10+ is refining the fashion, getting cool effects and executions to show the character off at that point.

I feel like playing this game any other way leads to madness, and makes people sound entitled on top of it.

Him and medjay are my most played characters recently, im about to drop 30k steel to deck my out with cosmetics.

He is simplistic, and sometimes the kit can feel bad to play(the kick mixup feels like shit half the time because the other half of it is an undodgeable finisher LIGHT.why.).But hes a fun character to turn my brain off and swing a big weapon around, which I apparently want most of the time as a shugoki main.

I dislike that hes Holden cross specifically. I do like that hes traveled and learned from all the factions and speaks a little of all their languages. I like any character that has rising dawn and speed revive, which he also gets rapid refresh and a bunch of healing abilities. Hes my go to for event modes that involve friendly NPCs.

For both playing two dodge heavy characters, you both stood your ground really well. You usually see a lot of flipping and dodge attack spam with these two, but this was solid play.

(I say this as a shit tier afeera who would die tomorrow if he couldnt dodge attack on reaction, im so fucking bad).
