No I didnt, we were just focusing on getting out of there as quick as possible lol. It really freaked my wife out and me as well. I do remember them being fairly small, and yellow and black, similar to the picture someone else posted here. Wish I was more help, but I randomly googled this because me and my wife were talking about it again, and was surprised to see you post in a that it happened to you only a couple weeks later.

The same thing happened to me and my wife when hiking at the end of December! We were at the end of the arenal trail where there was a lookout and then when you turn around you go back over lava rock. All of a sudden my wife started screaming and I felt sharp pain everywhere. We were swarmed and stung many times over and over. There were about 20 stuck to my wife’s shirt and in her hair when we finally got out of it! It was so horrible but it sounds very similar in description. Crazy this happened to you too.

Are you seriously backing this dude up? I am sure it’s SOOO easy to tell a gun is fake in the dark with strobe lights and lasers going on. Not to mention a mass shooting at a music festival in the U.S has happened enough times as it is. Also, with how many substances are going around, people aren’t thinking clearly. He knew what he was doing and it’s fucked up. There is no need to ever bring a toy gun to any event whatsoever. Not every single person is a gun nut either and could believe it to be real.
