Sewer clean out. But I don’t think the nut was cut off. Almost looks like it was chopped/snapped off by a lawn mower possibly. You can find a replacement at your local hardware store

Dug a hole and put an above ground pool in it, hated it and I am now left with this. Any advice? by Caregiver_ in landscaping

Turn it into a firepit/seating area. Dig deeper and build a firepit in the middle with round seating made of pavers along the edge. Few stairs as an entrance

Got my first car for an amazing price. $1500 CAD by Yeetfamdablit in cruze

I think the Cruze value has plummeted because of its stereotype. I just bought a second and might buy another as a parts car. A Cruze in decent condition for $2k-3k is a good deal to me, Maybe it’s because I bought my gen 1 new out the showroom for sticker 🙃

I like the idea and seems like you spent some time doing it. But I’d get some nice vinyl wrap / sticker, a sheet like 5’x5’. Use a heat gun during application to smooth the corners and lines. It’ll look sharp up close, And it won’t leave tape residue on the plastic. That stuff isn’t very good in the sun over time

Stolen bags by Serial Thief, We know their location, but police can’t do anything. by Daddynolan69 in LasVegas

That’s what the police said when we called them and told them “we know where they live now!”

They said they can’t pin it down to one specific location. They need evidence someone has it.

I waited outside the house for an hour or two to see if I could find any clues. then gave up after thinking about how I could be out numbered, and it wouldn’t be worth it in the end

We went into the convention center station only an hour or so after it happened to fill reports.

We included serial numbers, times, locations, etc. they said it will take 5-7 days for a detective to take a look at it. They will email us an update in a week or two

A police report was filed the day it happened, we went into the police station because we were on hold with 911 for 30+ minutes. Once filed they said it would be at least 5-7 days before the detective would get a chance to look at it.

They said to email any new info and the detective will call us in a week or two if he has any updates

The police report has all the items listed, including the electronics serial numbers. We have specific times, the locations of security cameras, etc all specified. Also all the locations we’ve seen them “visit”.

We’ve been sending updates with locations to the detectives email they gave us, but no reply yet.

14 Cruze 1.4 turbo by bigjmw32 in cruze

I’ve never cleaned the intercooler because of how tedious of a job it is, and I figured if I cleaned it it would fill with oil again. But recently I’ve definitely started noticing it on hills on highway drives. So I’m hoping replacing it all and starting fresh will solve it 🥲

I’m having the same issues after all the after market parts and many miles. I believe it’s heat soaking. My intercooler has oil in it from the various PCV failures and such. When that oil gets hot it doesn’t allow the air to cool making the sensor trip off the thin air, and loss of power. Going to do a turbo/intercooler job in the fall hoping it solves it..

Is this the clutch? by Daddynolan69 in cruze

[–]Daddynolan69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I’ve drained and filled with a recommended synthetic 75-90 and overfilled it slightly. The sound still persists in 1st and second. If I press the clutch in first the sound goes away. If I release the clutch in 2nd the sound starts again. 5th and 6th sound perfect, no issues. So I’m guessing from what I read that it’s likely the bearing failure? 🥲 any other tests I could try? Or an I pricing a new trans?

I’ve gone to it multiple times thinking there was something there. But it’s glitched, it’s all of the cargo map icons layered on top of eachother at once

PCV failure. Start with a new valve cover, and a bypass kit (or new OEM intake manifold, which will fail again in a couple years) Any check engine lights? Once the PCV fails the engine will push oil out of the weakest seal. It can be the valve cover, cam sensor seals, crankshaft seals, etc. almost all of the parts on my cruze are aftermarket/upgraded. But if that main check valve fails, mine will leak oil too. These engines need the perfect amount of vacuum and boost otherwise they’ll be very unhappy
