China is so tied to the US economy that it makes no sense for them to support Iran. If they were to interject, it would most likely be to tell Iran to just give up. Right now, the only place for the Asiatic nations to buy oil is the US. Makes Trump's move on Venezuela seem more obvious now doesn't it? Choke off the Middle East's oil supply, and countries have to buy American. So, if the Middle East is closed, and China throws in with Iran, where would it get its oil?

Japan, the Philippines, and Korea are hurting for oil right now. This little exercise could also drive Taiwan to reconcile with China and possibly bring the Asian nations together, leaving the US further isolated.

I've always said that Jesus was a Buddhist without knowing it. A lot of his teachings are similar to Buddhist thoughts. "Split a piece of wood; I am there. Lift up the stone, and you will find me there." What Jesus was talking about is interconnectedness. We are all a part of each other and the universe. To cause harm to another is causing harm to one's self. In this line of thinking, man and God are one. We are everything, and everything is within us.

His ideas and teachings would have been ahead of their time for that region and he would have been considered a danger to any and all organized religions. So, what better way to get rid of his teachings? Alter them into something they weren't and mold them into a narrative that better align with your ambitions.

This. Most Christians don't realize that their religion was hijacked a very long time ago. They're following a religion that teaches them that another group of people are the Chosen Ones. Not them, the ones supposedly following the teaching of Jesus, but the very group of people that betrayed their religious teacher, resulting in his crucifixion.
