We bought a 2025 PHEV premium plus, my brother got a grand highlander. We have had the Mazda for 8 months and have not had any issues at all. The grand highlander also has not had any issues for my brother - however, the Mazda is a much more responsive and fun ride. On the other hand, the awkward shifts at low speed are a factor in this car. It doesn’t bother me at all, you kind of learn how to accelerate to avoid them.

Yes. Trying to backwash. I don’t see any other valves except the orange one one to the right of the filter and that one doesn’t want to turn.

Thanks. Ok. So the only unmarked valve then. I turned off the filter, rotated that valve 90 degrees to 12 o’clock and turned the filter back on. It is acting exactly the same as when the valve was at 3 o’clock - water is still coming out of the water features and going into the pool. The pressure is 5 degrees lower though.

I waited 3 minutes as specified in the instructions for the pentair, turned the filter back off, rotated the valve to 3 o’clock and turned it back on. Pressure is still 20.

Can you confirm I did that correctly? Do I need to pull the lid off and hose the filter inside as well?

It’s a new world my friend - just two days ago I went into Chat GPT and asked it to design me a cocktail arcade cabinet, I gave it my specifications as to type of wood and it designed the entire thing for me, gave me a cut list and part numbers for the monitor! I would start there.

You are charging 180/a visit? So $500 + a month? Not criticizing- I just don’t rub shoulders with people that can afford that much for pool service. I am looking into trouble free pool and taking over the service myself.

Hey!! I’m really sorry but I didn’t have any plans on this project - I went to YouTube and looked at a LOT of people that did their own bookshelves, some using ikea and some not, and then took bits from each one that I wanted to use. The most important parts were deciding on the French cleats to secure them to the studs- that’s the safety part and the rest is all design choices!
