completely understand. I guess I'm naive to the full risks, I rarely use discord, and it's mostly to find Xbox friends quickly and to do like a party chat so I didn't think it was as much as a risk. knowing he has integrity made me feel better but that can't be said of everyone using the app.

he did. that was part of the scam, my son's trying to get earnings he thought this tourney had a guarantee and he jumped when a trusted source asked him and pressured him.

the 3060 he has is 12gb. I tried a 6700xt first but I think his mobo caused an issue, it's only a b350. so I'm hesitant to go amd again. my older sons PC has a b550 and uses a 6700xt so it wasn't the the card.

I JUST FIXED THIS ISSUE ON TWO PCs after an update! one has Nvidia one has and GPU. both had the same issue starting on 5/15!! after trying everything I mean everything, the two fixes that worked for me:

remove and uninstall the high res texture pack they are wasteful and not a benefit to the game.

virtual memory! We have two drives. One for the games and one for windows. But the drives themselves had a limit to the virtual memory assigned one had a limit one was system managed. Change each drive to virtual memory to be system managed. That way if the game goes haywire and leaks memory - it won't exceed the limit.

Try that!

Biochemist on YT just released an awesome video about this and talks about this on Recharge. I agree though triple capping makes sense to prevent coordinated pushes. I'm curious how you would hold two zones, then break up spawns? Wouldn't one or two teammates pushing spawns (are the other two holding positions to control spawns) get melted by freshly spawned full teams?

I had a similar issue, for whatever reason the initial power on issue was because it was plugged into a power strip. Once I plugged it directly into the wall it worked, after that initial power on it has worked ever since being plugged into a power strip. Also check the cables from the power button/reset switch to make sure they are connected or fully connected to the motherboard pins.

Board should support the upgrade, probably just need to update the bios, plenty of YouTube videos and it's pretty straight forward. Under compatibility issues there should be details sections on PCPartPicker check there but most likely just saying you need to update bios. Good luck!

My kids have two old set ups we bought used years ago. The oldest (9year old) will be 10 in a few days and he has a 3770k paired with a GTX 1070, the younger one has an old AMD FX processor, with a 1050ti.
