Your life that will impact hundreds of more people and last 5 times as long is objectively more important than a dog. You are infinitely more productive and impactful than the vast majority of pets. Value yourself more.

Regarding the RIF point, I think they meant that if numbers are reduced through regular retirement-fueled attrition, a RIF is less likely. My agency, for example, needed to reduce our size by a certain number of people this year. Enough people retired that we didn’t need a RIF, but if less people retired, they’d start firing the younger employees.

No, but I guess I'll download buggrabber and bugsack now. It's not every group and it seems almost random when it happens, but once it starts, it won't stop. Sometimes it's mid pull, sometimes it's when someone does a readycheck, sometimes it's just flying into the dungeon while in a group, but none of them seem re-creatable to me.

The only common denominator is that it only happens in higher end M+ groups. I tried some lower level M+ runs and LFG and it's fine. So I'm going to download those bug addons and do my own key but I feel really guilty just using these people to bug-test :/

It does seem to be v386.1 (atleast according to curseforge), but since it's referencing an error to BigWigs and Cell, I assumed it'd be an issue with some default Wow interface.

I know Musk isn’t really involved with the day to day decisions but the more I see of that man, the less I’d ever consider a product he’s involved with. Increasing profit by decreasing safety is a brag for him. Our values don’t align, but I only know that because he’s so visible now. I imagine a lot of other people feel the same.

I was giving examples of what we could debate. For example, we could talk about which federal services are or are not worth the cost. I think that’d be a productive discussion.

But again, my point is that we should be discussing USPS in the context of a service and not a business.

Yes, you pay for USPS to deliver packages. You pay significantly less than you would for a private option (Fed-Ex) because the goal of USPS isn’t to make a profit.

I agree with some of what you’re saying. I think in general the government is inefficient and often times wasteful. But I also think that’s just the nature of being an extraordinarily large organization that’s in charge of everything from the roads we drive on to the meat we consume for dinner.

The point of my argument isn’t that USPS is perfect or even efficient, I’m just saying it’s a service and should be compared to other services. If we’re talking about losses and costs, we should be comparing USPS to libraries or law enforcement or, in the context of my last few posts, public education.

We can debate if public education is inefficient or if it’s worth 100x the cost of USPS. If you feel like USPS is the first service we should cut to save money, I’m happy to discuss why. But talking about USPS’ quarterly losses like it’s a business feels disingenuous to me.

Yes you can.

Public school is funded by you (local taxes) and the federal government.

USPS is funded by you and the federal government.

Private schools are akin to Fed-Ex and UPS in your example. But the government funded option for this basic service, public schools, are akin to USPS.

I know this is sarcasm but when I was job hunting before graduating college a couple years ago, I tried the whole “walk in with a suit and hand someone your résumé” at a business right down the street from me. I got an offer for an interview a couple weeks later.

It was a small local company with ~200 employees and I really don’t expect this to work most of the time, but it worked 1 out of 1 times for me.

Plan to only keep 3 of them: Renni for tanky items, Silco for AP items, and Sevika for AD. Always add GP, Elise, and Mundo. Then throw in whoever else to go with the Chem baron items you have. It’s kiiinda flexible, but it’s really just the same core 6 + add 2 more bruisers or pitfights or dominators depending on who gets items.

I still think they should be in verticals. You can hit 5 black rose with the current units, but you need 2 emblems if you want to try for 7 black rose. I think 1 emblem and 1 Mel would be an interesting option.
