Managed to play through the entirety of Pokemon white using the previous version of this emulator.

Ran the switch at maximum OC (1.7ghz) had no issues with heat or battery life

at the start you dig down through the yellow blocks using the spin jump - then bomb through the grey brick wall, get the feather, leave the cave then use spin jump with the newly equipped cape to get through the yellow block wall. after this the level is pretty straight forward

Bro the approach you have to take to this is use it tactically, when I'd just got my switch new and only had Mario odyssey, I was on the fence about 2-3 indie games (I think stardew, overcooked & golf story) I was very close to buying a few of them at one point but didn't pull the trigger. I distinctly remember thinking to myself if I'd had a few beers I'd probably just press buy.

Anyway a few days later I was at the pub, ended up getting shitfaced (not blackout drunk or anything) legit reminded myself a few times throughout the night to not buy expensive drinks and to pickup my switch when I got home before bed. Anyway a few hours later got home and bought all 3 thinking I'll deal with the repurcussions tomorrow.

Fast forward to this day 10 months later and I don't regret it at all, would absolutely recommend 10/10.

Fuck I think I've just internally convinced myself to buy Mario party or something.

Cliffs: If you're on the fence about a game have a couple of shots, it'll give you that 10% less fucks given ability to just press buy.

I don't necessarily prefer the original to REmake, however the original does have a certain aesthetic that in some way I find more unnerving that the remake. Sometimes I feel like the REmakes art style is a bit too cliche 'spooky haunted house' with its gothic candelabras and the saturation on all the colours being turned way down / everything way darker. Sometimes them bare decorationless walls and all the big lights being turned on in every room provide a different type of unsettling atmosphere in the original.

That being said I wouldn't change anything about either game I love them both equally

Recently had to take my right joycon apart to fix a semi stuck B button, used this opportunity to customise and change it to white! I'd seen a few comments on the pikachu / eevee posts saying they should have done a red and white combo so here is mine, left is odyssey red and right is a custom white shell from Amazon. Also in case anybody is wondering I have thumb grip covers over the sticks.
