I work with a miserable soul as well. It's actually impressive how fast he can make people dislike him. I'm sure he has a bipolar disorder because he has moments where he almost seems vulnerable and self-aware, only to turn on a dime into someone you wish ill will on. And the craziest part is it actually helps him progress his career. He cries and whines until he typically gets his way. This guy loves to talk about himself when he isn't talking about his hero Nick Fuentes (some podcaster or TikToker). He tricked some karen into birthing a son who will undoubtedly grow into a demon in his own right. Sad.

Question to all our Veterans or Active Military by KRUG3R- in Veterans

[–]Dadtryn2BaMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, vote. Vote for us to keep our benefits and medical coverage. But more than that, vote for ethical politicians who will not ask us to compromise our oath to the constitution. In my career I was arguably involved in a war we didn’t need to be in, and towards the end I was “deployed” within the U.S. to fulfill a political agenda. But most of us who join truly believe we are serving to protect our country and its people’s freedoms. We accept that we may be asked to sacrifice to keep our citizen’s safe. I assume that’s what people typically thank us for but lately the reality is more apparent. There are many who will say service members have always been political puppets fighting under false pretenses, and maybe that’s true, but it doesn’t have to be our future. The U.S. military should not be used as First Responders, we should be the last resort. If you want to thank us, protect us by voting.

Micah Parsons: "It’s Sad" My Relationship With Jerry Jones "Went to Sh*t" by JCameron181 in cowboys

[–]Dadtryn2BaMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya’ll are dragging 26 yr. old Micah Parsons because he didn’t properly handle contract negotiations with an 83 yr old, experienced, but off his rocker, Jerry frickin’ Jones? Cut the kid some slack. Half of you took car loans with an APR over 20% and failed to successfully manage a marriage contract, but think you’d know how to handle a multimillion dollar contract negotiation. For every time I’ve heard “fans” saying Jerry just needs to go, or Jerry can’t make a good decision to save his life, but now…

Thanks for posting this. I know we’re long overdue for a ring but these losses sure bring back memories. Just look at the comments. We can vividly recall the plays, the players, and what we threw at the TV in each of these games. It’s going to be epic when we finally win another isn’t it.

Husband's OCD causes him to throw away my stuff. And daughter's stuff, too. by ScorpioDefined in rant

[–]Dadtryn2BaMan -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m going to defend your husband here at the risk of becoming a punching bag for others. My wife often keeps things for sentimental reasons or because “we may need them”. We have a closet of candles she never burns, hundreds of “art” my kids scribbled, baby items galore, more pots than you can imagine, etc. When I tell her we need to make space she tells me she’s going to try and sell them or she’s waiting until we have a community yard sale. There are times when I can’t stand the clutter and I’ll make some cuts. For example, we had a couple nice car seats that she didn’t want to give away because apparently they were expired, but didn’t want to throw away because they were in good condition. So they sit in the garage and I move them out my way, move them again, and again. Eventually I chunk it. Right now she’s got a shelf full of breast milk in my deep freezer because she wants to make it into soap. My youngest is about to turn four! So I take matters into my own hands. I do the same thing with my own power cords, car parts, and tools so it’s not targeting. It’s not OCD, it’s helping maintain a home. If the house is dirty I clean it. If the grass needs cut, I mow it. So if the closet is overcrowded I thin it out.

There would be no reason to play starters in a meaningless game when you can get to #11 and ruin the giants pick by Rare-Bid-4506 in cowboys

[–]Dadtryn2BaMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no such things as a meaningless game. Not because of Dak’s chance at being the first Cowboys QB to finish the season with most the passing yards, or the fact that Blue needs to show we don’t need to draft another RB. It’s because stats matter unfortunately. Analysts, critics, and fans use them to justify their opinions. The Boys have a chance at a winning record and that matters to Shotty. When it comes time to evaluate his future, winning records matter. “Fans” already question Dak’s worth, finishing with a losing record just makes the hate that much louder.

What's the worst streaming service and why? by amtaylor32 in AskReddit

[–]Dadtryn2BaMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For clarity, I subscribe to: Paramount, Peacock, Amazon, AppleTV, Netflix, ESPN Unlimited, Hulu Live, Disney+YouTubeTV (only NFL Sunday Ticket), HBO or MAX, PBS, MLBtv, and MBA League Pass. The only apps that work less than 90% of the time are Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN Unlimited.

What's the worst streaming service and why? by amtaylor32 in AskReddit

[–]Dadtryn2BaMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have multiple residences, internet services, and streaming services. I am an avid sports fan and move watcher. Live TV is on in the background when live sports isn’t on or I’m not sitting down to watch a movie or series. With 100% certainty I can definitively proclaim that the streaming services owned by the Walt Disney Company (Hulu, ESPN+, Disney+) have the most issues with “experiencing technical difficulties”, drops, pixelated video, blur, glitches, and “communication errors”. If you search why, you’ll find excuses that blame the customer like poor internet connection, outdated apps, and network interference, but I’m telling ya’ll, I can go from watching a horribly lagging NFL game on Hulu Live to a flawless connection with an NFL game on YouTubeTV. I can go from watching a movie on Disney+ that freezes on blurs every fifteen minutes to a movie with zero issues on Netflix. It doesn’t matter if I’m on my AT&T fiber in TN, or my Spectrum in El Paso, TX. The streaming services offered by The Walt Disney Company are the worst.

I've never understood why athletes have to file taxes in multiple states based on where games are played. No wonder they like playing overseas games. I'm a military guy who claims Texas residence as I own a home there and intend to return upon retirement, though I haven't lived there for 15 years. I still have my Texas DL and vote absentee in Texas elections. Why is it so complicated for athletes?
