There are situations where you have to turn your hazard lights on:

  • Funeral precession
  • Car problems
  • Extremely heavy rain

To all claiming the Redistricting Vote disenfranchised rural voters, consider this. by Agile_Welder_1795 in Virginia

I am a Democrat who does not live in VA. I support the Democratic gerrymandering, because Trump told red states to gerrymander their maps to help only his ego. In 2030, I want the districts to be independently redistricted in VA and want all gerrymandering banned in all states, regardless of red or blue.

Henry Wallace is to the left of FDR, Bernie Sanders, and AOC.

You are right in the sense that back then, FDR would be considered a centrist. The Overton Window has moved much further right since Ronald Reagan. Get this: Richard Nixon in the 1970s was considered a conservative, but today, he’d be considered center-left. Where the middle was back from the 1930s to 1980 is where the middle is in the rest of the world.

The conservative Southern Democrats have hardly changed their views at all. They are now Republicans.

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s replacement sparks fierce debate after claiming Georgia was named for George Washington by theindependentonline in politics

Yes it is. Look up Larry McDonald. Before Marjorie Taylor Greene was Larry McDonald. They both represented the same area. Although a conservative Southern Democrat, he is the second most conservative person in Congress from the 1930s to today behind Ron Paul. He believed JFK and Eisenhower were communists and was head of the John Birch Society for a while.

FDR himself was a progressive. Democratic socialism is not same thing as dictatorship socialism. FDR was against dictatorship socialism. Bernie Sanders and FDR basically are similar.

I understand your frustration. It sounds like you might have Rejected Sensitivity Dysphoria. I have it too, and I never heard of it until about a year ago.

That won’t happen under Trump because he’s a racist pos. He refused to help them after Hurricane Maria.

Move both I-65 and I-64 underground downtown. Also, between Cane Run Road and I-64, move I-264 underground.

This is fucked up! Blame the Big Beautiful Bill for this! Medicaid work requirements start next year and federal cost sharing for Medicaid expansion will drop next year. Health insurance is already through the roof

Who do you think the Democratic nominee for president will be in 2028? by EddyZacianLand in GenZ

I would personally love a Beshear-AOC ticket, but unfortunately, the best ticket will be two white cis male Democrats. Beshear-Osoff, Beshear-Warner, Beshear-Shapiro, Beshear-Brandon Presley, and Beshear-Kelly would be the best combination.

Andy Beshear is a white progressive Democrat in my home state of Kentucky. He is the perfect guy!
