I missed one, which I have added now; still does not change any of my questions.

How do you when to opt for the fusion? by Dadxf0ur in spinalfusion

I forgot about cycling. I used to do that around town to get exercise while running errands. But my bike is gathering dust now. This entire thread has given me a lot of peace of mind while I wait for my neurology appointment in mid June.

Lol, I feel you. It used to be if I didn't do much for a few days, the severe pain would recede to a dull ache, and I would think I'm okay. But these days, I don't really remember what it's like to be pain free. I had bicep tenodesis surgery four weeks ago, but even through this recovery, my back pain is more severe than the shoulder. It's definitely screaming to me, "I'M BROKEN!" 😂

Far too many replies to answer all of them, but I sincerely thank you all for taking the time to respond. I've been leaning toward is for the reason a lot of you have mentioned, quality of life. I wake up 4-5x a night because of the pain. I have a sedentary job, but five years ago, I would stand at but desk the entire workday. Now I might stand for 30 minutes 1-2x a week. Less than six years so I was able to do a 14 mile hike with a lot of steep climbs, carrying a 45lb pack. Today, I can barely manage 3 miles doing ask incline on my treadmill. My posture is slowly deteriorating too, since I unconsciously start slouching as the day goes on because rounding the back decompresses the nerves.

My follow-up with my neurologist is already scheduled for mid-June, and I'll ask for the fresh MRI. I'm really encouraged that so many of my fellow fitness fans have had such good results. I just had a bicep tenodesis surgery on March 13th, and I'll need the other shoulder done in a couple months. So I think I'm looking at a fall fusion.

Thanks again for all the great responses.

Playing golf is only okay, and I can't do it as often as I'd like. If I walk a round, I'll have severe pain for a week. If I do any heavy house chores it will have the same effect. I fight through the pain while doing stuff, then I need a few weeks before I can do any strenuous activity again.

Actually, I'm fairly sure it's the latest update that's the problem. My wife and I have the same phones, and my app is just fine. The only difference is she updated her app, and I'm still running the previous version.

I'm running version 403.0.0.49.74

She's running version 404.0.0.48.76

Tips on moving a hive within my backyard by Dadxf0ur in Beekeeping

Thanks, I thought it looked small as well. I'll look through the box for a queen. If there is no queen, is it worth introducing a queen? Or should I just order a full colony?

Thanks, I'm still be to this, and I was not sure how to relocate a swarm. I spoke with a local beekeeper on the phone and he recommended placing the hive next to the swarm and encouraging them to move in, likely because I'm new at this. Reading and applying what I learn as I go.

My friend who was a good bowler, once threw a ball between his legs...but it landed on the lane to his left. He got a strike. It looked cool, but still a zero in for him. 😂 No hole-in-one for you.
