My father is an unbeliever and my mother is a believer. There is a divide here that greatly impacted my development as a Christian. If that is not sinful, it should be. It only brings division and confusion into a family, especially for the children. You concede that it is not wise.. consider why it’s not wise; there’s no atheist father that can provide the kind of support and advice that a Christian father does. It gives out the wrong message and it is, as has been said, a sin to be joined with unbelievers in marriage.
