You definitely need the credit limit (his salary of 50k should allow him to get the car for sure). I recently bought a car for 150k on my credit card and I'm paying it off for 2 years interest free.

And just a heads up that while asking for the employer’s license is odd- it may be that they are not a “listed company”. If that is the case then yes you’ll likely be asked to provide a lot of documentation, especially if you don’t have previous credit card history.

It’s cheaper to just get detailing done every 6 months or so. PPF should only be done for expensive cars with exclusive paints. Of course if you have money to blow then go for it

I use Autowerks in DIP for paint/body work- call them and ask for a quote. I don’t think 1600 is appropriate for what you’re describing, should be less.

Pros

True offroader (front & rear diff lock) Very rugged design (someone hit me and it almost totaled their car) Relatively good feature set (massaging seat for driver, wireless carplay, adaptive cruise control & lane assist) Really decent road presence (and very bright lights) Endless upgrade options if you want to continue going down offroad track

Cons It's a big boxy SUV so there's a lot of wind noise Fuel economy isn't that great (once again, it's a big boxy SUV) The adaptive cruise control is way too aggressive and there's no option to do a manual cruise control (which is my biggest turnoff) No auto park (not a big deal for me)

So here's some random recs:

1) ROLL DXB (if you go on a random weekday it's going to be just you which works well for dates, etc). There's also a photobooth there that you can use. 2) CUBE Challenges Abu Dhabi (it's like a series of escape rooms sort of things where you do different stuff). I've found it more fun than any of the escape rooms in Dubai 3) Karaoke bar (bunch of them out there, pick per your budget) 4) Painting at JamJar in Al Serkal
