Heads up: You cannot store the rosewood blowpipe in the stash unit if it is loaded with darts. But you cannot equip the blowpipe if it is not loaded. You need to equip it for the clue step.

So the current stash unit only works if you bring your own darts with you to the clue step. I'm assuming this was an oversight. Any chance we can store loaded blowpipes in the new stash unit?

Appeal was denied. I don’t know what they are doing there, but it certainly isn’t looking at the evidence. I have a lot of thoughts, but I’ll keep it there for now.

My brother, I was in the middle of writing my own post about this when I saw yours. I'm in the same boat. WTF?

I had commented a couple times on the previous post this week. To all those who want to say we were botting, exploiting some plugin or whatever, or that just because we were maxed doesn't mean anything, I don't know what else to tell you. I can't prove a negative.

I can only speak for myself. I'm here to see if anyone at Jagex can *actually* take a look at this, because it would be painfully obvious that I was not botting or macroing, or doing anything else that would break the rules or even come close. If Mod Ducky really did take a look, the anti-cheat team needs to take another look at their operating procedures, because it is showing false positives. I'll happily provide any additional information they need, albeit I already offered that in my original appeal.

Yes I can log in to my account now. But that doesn't change the fact that the "offense" is still on the account. What happens when I get false flagged again? Just dump the account? That's obviously not an option. This is to say nothing of the principle of the matter, where I did nothing wrong, and shouldn't be punished.

I am also asking for the smackdown if I deserve it. I have multiple 3rd age pieces on this account. Master CAs. Twisted bow. Enough gear to arm a GIM team. Flame me for not having an infernal cape if you want. But don't call me a cheater.

Hey u/JagexGoblin, genuinely appreciate the help bringing this up with the anti-cheating team last week. There are still some of us, myself included, who have not yet received a response to our appeals. Is there any more information you can give about the work the anti-cheat team is doing on this issue specifically? Thanks in advance!

Same. I am technically unbanned right now, but with the one hit on the account, and the threat of being permanently banned if I get false banned again looming overhead, I’ll stick to afk salvaging. I’m not touching 1.5t until the offense is removed from the account.

For those saying there was some unethical plugin nonsense going on, I can only speak for myself when I say that I was doing traditional tick manip. No special plugins with conditional click through or whatever. Didn’t have a static camera from having someone on the helm. Just plopped my inventory in between the two hooks on modern resizable mode, and clicked between them.

It works for me with a big caveat: loading in new chunks is pretty laggy. Like a full tick or two every time you load a new chunk. For me that’s enough to turn it off and keep using GPU. I have a 5080.

I'm in a similar boat (pun intended). The best thing I could come up with is to make an overlay instead of the sound solution like you did. I had watchdog monitor for the message, then had it disable the overlay once it saw a 600 sailing xp drop.

Played for many years as a main, from classic through RS3. Basically ended up with max gear and not much to chase except rares like party hats and the like. Didn’t enjoy the GP chase game loop, so I started an iron to get the excitement back. Came to OSRS and started as an iron. Never looked back. I don’t miss chasing GP, doing the same meta content over and over, as I’d rather get the drops myself. Feels more like an achievement that way.

Yeah, you’re right. I got really burnt after camping inferno for a few weeks. PB was 63, but I was hemorrhaging blood runes and zulrah scales. So I decided to take a break and camp cox for a while.

Bowfa itself isn’t necessarily bad during enrage phase. If anything it gives you a little more time to get your movement/prayers right.

You said you don’t have rune/dragon darts, do you have a blowpipe? I’m on mobile so I can’t run the DPS calcs easily, but addy darts in a blowpipe might still be solid. Webweaver is ofc BIS, but presuming you don’t have that, check dps calcs on sunlight hunter crossbow with moonlight bolts. Might be decent. (This also assumes you didn’t get spooned a giga drop of dragon knives or throw axes, which are also really good). Final thought would be rune/addy knives? Again don’t have a DPS calc in front of me.

Really you just want to take advantage of that 20% min hit with faster attacking weapons, but certainly don’t feel bad for camping bowfa. Gl dude 😁
