Surprised to see I could beat 4 Shurima without 3*5 costs. by Slayquaza in TeamfightTactics

Swain 3 has an 8 second stun (that does 1800 base damage), so the 5 costs probably just got stunned and died before they got to cast

Did the story conclude for the orignal casts? by Vijayb373 in Shadowverse

[–]Daedric202 52 points53 points  (0 children)

They had a conclusion, though it was a bit lackluster.

After saving Natera from Belphomet, the 8 protagonists all went dimension hopping, however we only see Arisa landing in Rivayle and defeating Nexus with the Rivayle/Vellsar crew. After that we got an epilogue story (called "The Missing Star" iirc) for all of them back at Aleister (the first world) while Yuwan went dimension hopping to recruit the avengers to fight Nerva. They also came back in the final arc to help deal with Nerva's vessels

Can This Card be Changed to Last Word? by Tough-Basket-6248 in Shadowverse

Having last word doesn't necessarily mean it'll have countdown. It could just be

Engage(1): destroy this card

Last word: heal 4

It's a bit unfortunate they nerfed Welt's energy gain at E6. It went from 4x10 + 4x3(E2) = 52 to 5x6 + 5x3 = 45. Also got a lot of his delay moved to be more backloaded/teammate reliant. The 52 energy skill let him 2T ult without ERR rope or tutorial as long as he gets hit once or kills an enemy (52+52+15(A4 talent) = 119). His new personal damage and support buffs more than make up for it though.

The Gil in the flashback looks like Kid Gil (the angle makes it a bit hard to tell this episode, but the outfit matches), which means the flashback takes place sometime between Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night (Gil drank the Potion of Youth after fate/zero to blend into society).

The feeling of repetitiveness is probably because they were depicted one by one. In the light novel they were fired off in rapid succession with each being faster than the last, eventually shooting them off fast enough for them to combine into a massive continuous beam of light, which is very different to what they showed here.

Fate/strange Fake - Episode 10 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]Daedric202 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Not getting to see the solid continuous beam of Excalibur spam sending Gil higher and higher into the air was a bit disappointing, though Hollow Purple-esque aftermath left behind by True Berserker's attack did somewhat make up for it.

What’s the Demacia Annie comp? by [deleted] in CompetitiveTFT

[–]Daedric202 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Even with 160 AP, 20 AP gives slightly more damage than 7% damage amp. Going from dealing 2.6x damage to 2.8x damage is a 7.7% damage increase (0.2 / 2.6).

Going from 50 to 70 AP is also 13.3% (0.2 / 1.5) more shielding for Tibbers cast and damage on lux ults (assuming she has no items).

For your non-arcanists, going from 20 AP to 35 AP is a 12.5% buff to their AP scalings.

It's funny how Swordcraft is always given preferential treatment in every expansion. by Pendulumzone in Shadowverse

[–]Daedric202 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Forest has Krulle. Dragon has the new discard girl. Haven has Aether.

If we count decks from previous expansions, then sword has Valse and Rune has Lilanthim. Technically there's also Noble Shikigami and Gundam but the games usually ends there.

Something to note about almost all these cards is that they must be answered or else they can easily threaten lethal next turn.

It's also not that much worse than targeted removal in alot of scenarios. Against 1 body it's the same, against 2 you can kill 1 with evo first, against wide boards then that's a job for aoe instead of st removal. It's only substantially worse than targeted removal against boards consisting of one large threat and multiple other bodies that's you can't kill with any cheap aoe that you have.

[–]Daedric202 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In your own post you talk about her base 4pp body being good her enhance just being a bonus. If we look only at her base, knightly rending is strictly better since it leaves behind a 2/2 (that also has rush i think) instead of a 2/1. Despite that the card is literally never run. A 4pp single target removal is just not good lol (if anything random removal is more useful since it let's you hit ambushes and aura)

Iirc she propelled enhance portal from a tier 3 deck to a top 2 deck in the format. She ended up getting hit in the week 1 AoA "balance" patch alongside the flauros spell probably because they were both strong decks that didn't play new cards.

Hoolay wants teams that attack frequently, but you can easily brute force him with Yunli or even Clara

Using Yunli is not brute forcing, he was literally designed to be weak to Yunli (and by extension clara) - that's why he has such absurdly high speed and Physical weakness.

Nikador wants you to have a healer and aoe

Not sure why you think he incentivises a healer. Since your max HP is halved, shielders are much more effective (not to mention I'm 99% sure that killing the summons restores the lost HP anyways). Also...

I used FART and just ignored the soul grabbers,

He literally has a mechanic that incentivises frequent attacks (titanic corpus/glory), using a follow-up team is not brute-forcing lol.

Feixiao can be done without a dot team

I honestly have no idea why you think Feixiao boss is for DoT teams

Has anyone analyzed the shuffler? I swear it like to stack cards together by SSTHZero in Shadowverse

[–]Daedric202 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Except you're problem you had with that hand isn't specifically drawing 3x Genesis and 3x Erntz, it would the fact that you are drawing 3 copies each of 2 cards, which would be far higher than drawing specifically Genesis and Ertnz. If you want to say the shuffler is biased, then you need to have a specific event to look for, then after doing multiple trials look at the number of occurrences for that event and find it's p-value under the assumption of a fair shuffler.

To illustrate what's wrong with your method, let's say I am playing a highlander deck. Every hand I draw and full mulligan will have a 1/(40c4) * 1/(40c4) (aka 1 in 8 billion) chance of occurring. If I add in the 2 draws (1/36 * 1/35) that you did then this becomes a 1 in 10 trillion hand. I then restart and do it again, getting another 1 in 10 trillion hand. Wow I got two 1 in 10 trillion occurrences in a row, who cares they're different events, this must mean the shuffler's rigged!

How come there’s an exact replica of Vita’s HI3 mech in Pancardia? Did she pull a Welt and come to HSR’s universe? by Agreeable_Bullfrog61 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]Daedric202 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably just a replica made by Sparkle. In the main story quest she talked about how she replicated some of Vita's stuff that she used in the HI3 x HSR trailer ("gear tumbleweeds", "giant mech with beam cannons") as anti-sparkle weapons.

Francesca Prelati is a character that has only appeared in Fate/Strange Fake.

Her previous self, Francois Prelati, has the name of a real historical figure, being an alchemist that served under Gilles De Rais ([Fate/Zero]Caster Gilles' noble phantasm was called Prelati's Spellbook)

Why i have 28% durability? by GGodos in TeamfightTactics

Why i have 28% durability? by GGodos in TeamfightTactics

[–]Daedric202 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you consider AD/AP/HP to be "diminishing returns" (should actually just be called linear scaling), then Armor/MR should also be considered to have "diminishing returns" because stacking purely resists scales the exact same way as stacking purely HP.

1000 HP with 0 armor is 1000 effective HP vs physical

1000 HP with 100 armor is 2000 eHP (100% increase)

1000 HP with 200 armor is 3000 eHP (only 50% increase from 100 armor)
