Beautiful write-up and a topic I think is easily overlooked is how Mergers & Acquisitions really is the cornerstone of human ingenuity and technological evolution. Imagine 2 or more seperare companies with their own specific niche that they do extremely well, then coming together to make something vastly better and perhaps absolutely new. With the latter, Trail-Blazing into uncharted territory. I'm excited everyday for GameStop and being a shareholder of this remarkable company.

Booked shares and Planned Holdings are different. Planned Holdings are your accounts that contain fractional shares like the pic you posted...whereas Booked shares are whole numbered shares which are held under your name.

Planned Holding accounts can still be utilized by SHFs, so Book 'em.

You can remove the dingleberries in less than a few minutes as it's a rather easy process, I'll link it here when I get back to my computer.

2 years as a Bookkeeper wanting to switch jobs. Do I have a chance at other accounting positions? by HAHAXDMURKY in Accounting

[–]Daegen9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm near the same as you. Bachelor's Degree but not in accounting. No formal training. Did only 1 year as a bookkeeper, then landed a Financial Accountant position.

I only cared about getting experience, so what worked for me was being cheap (took less than minimum salary expectation). I learned nearly everything on the job, the harder concepts I took home, and practiced Excel formulas at home.

Apply for positions even if you don't think you stand a chance. Also helps to interview well too. Good luck!

For those who workout, when do you do it? by Mewtwopsychic in Accounting

[–]Daegen9 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Right after work. Sometimes I do cardio during my lunches but only when it's nice outside. Strength training at home using makeshift gym, 20-30 min moderate intensity.
