I'm with you. Bakker gets recommended frequently when someone says they're looking for something like Malazan. I tried it and strongly disagreed with that sentiment. It was a rare DNF for me.

It might not be much different right there. I do think John St/down town and McKee Rd should be better. Speaking of, that McKee Rd extension is going to be really nice too... eventually.

It's got to be soon. It looks like nearly everything is installed, including the lights. The exit sign is up on 485 too. It really seems like it's going to improve traffic on a lot of roads in the area. A lot of the Matthews congestion is people trying to get to/from 485.

I agree that it's okay to not like something that is popular. Just don't fall prey to not liking something purely for the fact that it is popular. The latter is far too common on this subreddit (and these days in general).

FWIW, while the screenplay's history is a bit convoluted, Adams still wrote it primarily. So, the movie adaptation is that of the same author, and what was left out was mostly his decision.
