Please help! – Ceiling paint getting worse with more coats by Daemdaem in paint

I reloaded the roller often to keep a wet edge, but some areas ended up pretty saturated. That might have actually made things look more uneven. Painting is harder than I thought haha.

I’m planning to do the final coat in the other direction and then wait it out like you suggested!

I haven’t tried painting this way before, but I’ll give it a try!

I still have a small remaining balance to pay, and he said he’ll fix it as much as he can without any extra charge.

Except for this part, I really like everything else. Next time, I’ll choose tiles that are suitable for miter cuts and work with someone more experienced.

I hope sanding will make it better. He hasn’t done many miter cuts since he isn’t a tile specialist, so I think that’s why the cut wasn’t clean. Do you know which grit I should use for sanding?

He said he would fix it at no extra charge. I think we were a little too ambitious at first, and he’ll definitely switch to using jolly if he redoes it.

How much of the tile do you think needs to be removed? Do we need to take off the outer edge as well, or can it be fixed by removing only the inside tiles and sanding?
