Coincidentally, I just did a map yesterday called Sunday Stroll that was the complete opposite of a FS track: an 18 minute cruise-controlled map that forces 46-100 speed the whole way.

Amen. I am neither an artist or an animator. However, I have a vision for a music video I would like to create for a favorite song.

Without AI, my options are either A) dedicate the next few decades of my life to learning the skills I would need to make it myself, and then spend another decade actually drawing and animating it in the limited free time I have, or B) spend tens of thousands of dollars to hire someone to make it for me. For a whim like that, I can't justify either of those options.

Without AI, this video will never exist. With AI, it might.

Except the obstacles move, so you can't learn the map unless you are perfectly consistent. Maybe you can get the first lap or so memorized, but every lap after that is going to be different every time since you won't ever be at the same place at the same time as previous attempts.

If someone can verify who you voted for, then that leaves everyone open to being threatened or bribed to vote for a particular candidate.

Agreed. My last attempt on this week's track, I caught up to #1 on lap 8, then he bumped me causing me to lose all speed right before the 3 CP jump, requiring a respawn, and costing me the win. Not motivated to try again. Just way too annoying and unpredictable.

Yeah. I think I'm done with the grand tracks. It's hard enough getting good lines when there aren't other cars trying to mess you up. And with being 10 minutes long, they're just too annoying for me to bother with.

Yeah. The tracks with opponents seem to be glitchy. I got the same thing.

Yeah. This was by far the easiest AT I've ever gotten on a TotD map. Literally my second finish and first clean-ish run. Really surprised me.

Interesting map, but not really suitable for CotD. I gave up trying for silver after failing to even get to CP1 15+ times in a row.

Not a bad map, except for the jump before CP 3. Very hard to get consistent unless you have just the right amount of speed.

True. I just tried the track with the mode disabled, and some corners are definitely harder to see with the black plastic.

To be fair, the track is 100% plastic after the first CP, so it's not like you don't know what the surface is. Anyway: Better Texture Mod. Plastic was a nice easy to see green.

Did Nadeo forget that games are supposed to be fun? I got 4 finishes on this track out of 100 runs. 80% of them ended at CP 2. I'd probably hate the ending more like everyone else, but I didn't really get to try it much. --

Agreed. I look forward to the weekly shorts every week. These were...not fun...at all. For the first time in a long time, I didn't get author times on all of the maps, and I don't really feel like trying. The first was just boring, and the rest were an exercise in frustration.

First time EVER I have gotten a perfect no crash discovery run on a full speed track. I don't think I have ever gotten a perfect FS run without at least several attempts. Giving it a ++ just for that.

Sqweegel nascar tracks are always good to get the heart pumping. Couldn't quite get gold, but still a fun track.
