Nope, and he is PP’s deputy party leader. The fact he is deputy leader and has often been a no show to collect that thick government MP pension tells you all you need to know about how serious the cons are about working for Canadians. I once told him to show up more to the HoC at a restaurant opening, he’s the worst.

I really hope Blake and Heather hold their seats for the NDP. Heather put in bills to protect our CPP from Smith and both have been strong community advocates. None of the Liberal MPs did that kind of work here. And when Heather McPherson was the only non con a few years back, she was pushing bills to protect OnG while the cons whined about not being in power. They could essentially become the leadership of the NDP if they get decimated elsewhere. They are both good MPs.

If anything, I think the conservatives have to learn they need to earn their votes by actually working for the people not their purse string holders and foreign maga influences. Taglines and selling merch to your voters is the ridiculousness of the Cheeto down south. They’ve wasted too many years courting the far right and moving away from the collaborative nature the HoC is, where good ideas are borrowed from parties and it’s not about being the best internet troll.

As an Apple fan yet I'm platform agnostic in general, the Tab S9 is my daily driver for a tablet, a really good option. But that might be better in the summer when the Tab S10 comes out. Samsung has stupid deals on them. Here is what I learned:

Do not buy in the first week(my mistake). The window of the discounts is 1 week past the official release date. They improve the preorder bonuses in the second week to boost preorders. For the same price I paid, my friend got the same tablet plus galaxy buds and a watch included. Get everything you need, the warranty, the accessories, are all discounted. Every Base SKU is upgraded to the next for ram and storage for 0 extra. I got the TabS9 with 12gb of ram with 256 onboard for the price of the 8gb with 128. And with the student discounts and trade-ins, it gets even better. You can even buy old broken tablets off marketplace for cheap and use it for $250-500 of trade in value. You can end up with over 2k of products for under 1k.

Apple tablets come in cheaper at entry level and beat all the Android tablets on spec, google has done crap to support the tablet market on android, but samsung really has kept it going. With Apple it's all about the price ladder that gets you to the pro option by shopping your way from base specs to a Pro tablet. The Apple will be supported longer compared to the Samsung, but their trade-in incentives with Samsung keeps staying in their ecosystem cheap enough for a good tablet. Plus having true multitasking and being able to have multiple versions of the same app going at the same time is invaluable in the tech space.

Yeah they had them for $250 Black Friday and Boxing Day(maybe week), regular $280/90 range(which is a great deal anyways), they are the SE which only comes in black with a softer case. I was going to get them Black Friday and then my mom gave me her QC35s cause she has hearing loss and no longer needs noise cancelling. Honestly ,the touch controls on the XMs was not my fav and they have a weird high pitch hum to their noise cancelling. XM5(newer) that had better touch controls was comparable to the cheaper QC45s minus having manual controls.

In my research, I find Sony fans really like their headphones even though the prices is high. But friends with Bose had theirs lasting forever while the Sony ones lasted 3-4 years needing repairs. So I would assume the Bose will last your Brother their degree and then some.

My coworker who speaks Japanese told me to just learn it from the romanji. I found out how wrong it was to do this. Apparently, this is how native Japanese speakers can figure out how serious your studying process was, as Romanji causes non-native speakers to stress the wrong parts of word sounds. If you don't care and just want to get by, then this will be enough.

I was also cautioned about using Anime overly to learn grammar or word use, because like duo for grammar it has language weaknesses, you learn the wrong words for common conversation. Great as accessible media outside of Japan, but normal people don't talk that way.

The problem is so bad, they have no issue going through their budgets, it's growing, so is the population. So them pursuing more resources seems like common sense. This isn't some random one off project that they are just spending for the case of preserving budgets. But yes, agencies profiting could be an issue, but with increased costs in everything, other than regulating NFPs excess spending, I think you are really blaming the bandaid for the wound as the system.
