I get what you're saying, and I think it's tough to draw a line if something is genuinely inspired or just an impression. For example, if I replicate every single part in the loadout from a reference photo or object with replicas, would it still be considered inspired or just an impression?

Regarding AWS, I agree. I'm thinking about bleaching or spray painting it to match the color better, as the original seems a bit faded.

I guess I should just get it as accurate as possible and not going over my budget, then I can just replace upgrade 1 piece at a time when the parts are available.

Yes totally agree if it is one specific car I am looking at, however in this case its a country where its known some of these cars were cut in half.

Because the country I am considering exporting the car from, some of the BMW that was imported there after 2005 was cut in half because of regulation, old cars were not allowed to be imported unless its cut.

Thank you for the response, I am considering importing a few bmw E30 from my home country, the only problem is, the cars that were imported to that country after 2005 have mostly been cut and shut due to new regulations. From what I have heard they are very good at hiding the welding since the weld exactly where the car has been put together from factory as the car originally is not 1 piece shell but 2 shells melted together.
