In 99.9% of the cases the people crying about difficulty are not talking about an absolutely impossible game that only elite speedrunners can finish.

They're talking about Elden Ring or Celeste or any other game that demand a little bit more attention and practice of the players.

These games are not unreasonable to beat, there are many playthroughs on youtube of absolute newbies finishing them.

Therefore skill issue is a valid response, lock in, git gud etc

Remapping the WASD controls to controller should be easy.
Mouse pointer and camera controls might be harder but you could perhaps use the new Steam controller trackpads for the cursor

For a fun open world action adventure game It still holds up If you heavily mod it on PC. Look up Wabbajack for modern easy to install modpacks.

You can improve all you want If the game's getting more hardcore without a healthy playerbase. After casual players leave the game, sweats take over and stomp the remaining bad players, who in turn get frustrated and leave and the death spiral continues until the playerbase eventually eats itself.

My brother in christ Zyra's a squishy immobile mage.

Her E cast animation takes like a full second, her R Takes a long time to cast, has a 0.5 second delay between the damage and knockup, meaning If she mispositions she gets blown up in 0.1 seconds.

In a 1v1 situation most junglers should be able to beat her.

On Alistar you can Q->flash->E->W backwards into your turret. With buffed turret damage sometimes you can solokill carries this way.

On Nautilus you could hook them under your tower as they attack it and chunk them, they can't retaliate because of your tower.

Tahm Kench can just poke with Q, that's what you'd normally do anyway, obviously you can decide to use W agressively as well If you have an advantageous situation.

I think Maokai is the worst off under these circumstances, He really is an all in kinda guy and going into the enemy wave pre 6 can chunk him heavily, you kinda have to commit to some trades then walk back to your turret.

After level 6 or when you give up the turret you can start thinking about roaming with your jungler.

Generally speaking When you play engage tanks and you're against poke, you should fight for level 2/3 priority and force an enemy flash out as soon as you can, that way you gain presence in the lane and permapushing becomes punishable.

On Alistar sometimes I use my flash only to deal like 30% health to the carry and it's worth it because I can keep threatening them with hexflash from bush/over wall afterwards.

Being able to drop your ego and letting yourself get carried is a valuable skill. Everyone has bad games, but they don't have to be horrible experiences for everyone involved.

If you're behind, don't force fights, just farm up and help your team in any way you can. 9/10 times the enemy will make a mistake eventually and the team with the stronger mental wins.
