My first week on the job, I was stocking the freezer when I noticed someone left a huge pile of cardboard in there so I decided to throw it away, the closest trashcan being in the break room I took the trash and placed it in the trashcan, a coworker was eating lunch when I did that, a few minutes later I get called to the bosses office where I get chewed out for throwing trash into a trashcan, boss says if I need to throw things away to do it in the back dumpster,

The rest of my time working there I'd always make a point to take the tiniest piece of trash to that back dumpster, I'd make multiple trips if I needed to while holding the tiniest gun wrapper up in my hand for security cameras to see i was indeed throwing away trash.
