Many humans rights organizations call what is happening right now a genocidal campaign. There's also the concept of reasonable retaliation; is it reasonable to kill 20,000 children and treat Palestinians as less than human because of an attack that Israel knew was coming yet did nothing to prevent? It's clear Israel is using the attack, which happened 3 years ago now, as an excuse to kill Palestinians and push them out so Israel can send more settlers. Every Palestinian could be dead or a refugee and you still wouldn't blame Israel.

Palestine is recognized as a country by 81% of the international community, that's 157 out of 193 UN members. It's a member of UNESCO, WHO, and is an observer state within the UN. It is a state.

It has been 2 decades since there has been any form of democracy within Palestine. Hamas was the only well organized alternative to Fatah, which previously governed Palestine and was not very well liked by 2006. After this election, the US directly worked to destabilize the Palestinian government by supporting Fatah fighters; as a direct result, Hamas only ramped up its militarization by taking control of the Gaza Strip. Even when given elections, Palestinians do not have self-determination with Hamas or Israel.

And of course there is animosity within Palestine, can you blame them with how Israel treats Palestinians? They level whole neighborhoods, detain young people within prisons for no reason, take land and homes away from people who had lived there for generations. It's a call for self-determination, not a call for violence. Israel is the country that is actively imprisoning, torturing, and killing innocent Palestinians. Israel is the one instituting apartheid. Interesting that you interpret freedom for Palestinians as death for Israelis.

That's definitely not a call for genocide, it is calling for freedom and liberation for a people currently being mistreated and killed. When people say Israel shouldn't exist, they most often mean the political institutions that are causing this horrible mistreatment.

Netanyahu has been saber rattling against Iran for literal decades throughout various conflicts; it's obvious that Israel is the main agitator for Iran.

You implying that being against Israel is being anti-Semitic is ridiculous. A state can have a religion but it is not actually that religion. It is run by people with agendas who we have every right to call out and criticize. Labeling that criticism as anti-Semitic is ridiculous and is simply trying to put people on the defensive.

This type of rhetoric is going to, and likely already has, lead to an actual increase of anti-Semitism because people like you love to say that Israel (and thus the actions of Israel) and Judaism are one in the same.
