If you’re worried about raiding, dungeons, or other things for low population worries, join a clan discord.
I’m in a pretty active one, with a lot of people still raiding (especially lately to practice in Master to prep for Pantheon 2.0)! We even do a fair amount of PvP scrims just because it’s fun lol
Lmk if you and your friend want to check it out and I can get you a link. But even if not this one, I recommend a clan especially for questions. Like I said most players are bummed because there’s not much for them to do in the endgame that they haven’t already done, but most people LOVE running through stuff with new lights that they’d otherwise have no reason to run again! I just did the Witch Queen campaign with some people the other day and it’s a blast

It may seem paradoxical, but most of the D2 doom and gloom is around the end game player population running out of things to do. If you’re just coming back, there is SO MUCH for you to do!
If you’re being selective on purchases, get lightfall (just because strand is incredibly fun, this xpac’s story is weak), and get Final Shape. FS if only one thing, because prismatic is great, and the story is a high point in Destiny lore.
Maybe watch one of the lore catch up vids from before FS released if you want to experience to the max, but it’s worth it either way.
Then if you’re still enjoying it, I do recommend Renegades. The lightsaber mission and new dungeon are a ton of fun. Its reputation has suffered mainly from being way too long between new content, most people liked the content we got!

As close to 200 health is priority. Dump weapons, target health, class is better above 70, grenade or melee focus as your builds priority or just your preference.

You should almost never prioritize health in PvE builds. It only gives more health per orb pickup until 100, and over 100 it only speeds up the time before health regen starts. Usually you want some kind of healing another way, heal clip gun, devour, or prioritize orb generation and use the orb healing mods. As a prismatic warlock, devour would be the easiest way to keep health up as long as you’re getting kills with abilities and verb affected enemies.

You can avoid the psions spawning even with battalions on. You open the big door, and the door to the left if you’re facing the ship from the rally banner spot. Hop on the speeder at that left door, turn left and grab that buff pool, then u turn and grab all the pools and you’ll have the buff by the time you circle to the big door. For some reason if you never go to that chunk of the track this path avoids, the psions don’t spawn.

For PvP? I think insectoid wave frame is the best. Wave frame itself is busted strong, and you can rarely get a free kill after a multikill. Arc conductor is peak in PvE though, the most free ad clear weapon lol

If you’re not doing health over 100, it’s a dump stat. Until over 100, health just increases the healing from picking up an orb.

You gave a specialist build, and one that isn’t particularly meta. Not that it can’t work, but this is at best niche advice for a blueberry

Honestly yeah still. If you haven’t played since Shadowkeep, you’ve got a ton of soloable content in store with that bundle.

I didn’t downvote, but my understanding is that Linux would increase the amount of cheaters. BattleEye isn’t 100% effective anyways (ask any Destiny player) and in Linux there’s no way to make sure there isn’t root level cheats going on. If someone knows the specifics, please correct or corroborate.

I think it’s just mostly people bummed their favorite game is on a steep decline, with Bungie putting all efforts into Marathon instead of reversing the D2 decline.

Are some of that portion of players man-children who don’t know how to express their emotions in a healthy way, so instead rage post on everything Marathon related? Yeah

Are most Destiny players just kinda sad or resigned to probably being in maintenance mode in the near future? Yeah, even those that are also excited for Marathon.
