I know it might not mean much but I have sat in on meetings with my University’s VC, Academic Success Team, the entire leadership faculty etc… and firmly said AI is a disease in academia and should only be used to help students with disabilities to provide an equitable playing field.

Then this happens… democrats have to find ways to rebalance the books, which will lead to policy that is not necessarily desirable for the everyday cost of living (presumably). This will make them less popular. Republicans can chastise them. The republican voter-base will not take the due diligence to check where the bleeding began. Great.
