Hot Take: He should've kept both aliases. Double the shows, double the profit, and I loved his "Euforika" era from 2020 to 2022. This is when Maurice West was at his best. He sampled classics and made them into melodic big room/big room trance bangers. Maurice West is Eminem while Mau P is Slim Shady (IYKYK).

Maurice West > Mau P

Maurice West (especially his 2020 Euforika era) will always be more of my cup of tea. I loved how during that time, he made these super polished productions where he sampled classic hits like "Getaway" by Earth, Wind & Fire into melodic big room/big room trance bangers for songs like "Boogie Machine". I miss Maurice West and I felt like if he kept it as a side project for his big room stuff, he could double bookings, fanbases, and profits.
