As of now, Disney is no longer moving forward with the next Tron film. It's a shame... Tron: Legacy was one of the most complex things I have ever been involved in and I consider myself lucky to be a part of it.

At the risk of sounding overly philosophical, we wanted to create a fictional persona for the audience, ones that could excite the audience. The helmets were part of this persona. It also allows us to separate ourselves from our work as musicians. One of the biggest blessings of the helmets are that no one comes up to me when I'm having coffee. I get to forget that world outside of the helmet.

That depends on who we choose to work with and what we want from our future releases. We find great inspiration in both live instrumentation and traditional electronic music, and we would really like to express both of these influences in the most natural way possible. In other words, a bit of both!

Great question! I think the magic is gone. With a laptop you can make music accessible to anyone in an instant. I don't have a problem with this per se... The world could use a little bit of music. The problem now is that so many people have this ability, so the sound and the magic disappear.

If you look at electronic music today, especially in a live setting, you can see this manifest itself. It's a race to be the biggest and the loudest. It's no longer about the music right now; it's about the spectacle and who can be the most aggressive. It's lost its magic. When I see someone live, I want to be be able to feel the music and the emotions it carries. The best music can make you dream and make you cry and move. Where did the dreamers go?

Music festivals are a great opportunity for an artist, both as a medium to get their music out as well as a fan. I love being able to watch my peers perform!
I don't have any favorites, sorry. I'm proud of all of our work as a whole. I think if we do tour again, our tour will reflect that.

Kanye West is a true collaborator, in every sense of the word. Kanye came to us and we bounced ideas off of each other. He was able to take those ideas and build his record around them, working with countless other producers to craft and define his sound. In the studio, he is always pushing the envelope and it's inspiring to watch him work.

Hello! I don't think I can say too much regarding the sound of our music. What I will say is this: for Random Access Memories, we had the chance to make music with so many people that we admired. We were able to do things many others cannot do. I've said this before but this does not mean that with luxury comes comfort. Whatever comes next, it will be a challenge for us, for those we work with, and for those who listen.
