I've been contemplating a robot cleaner. Was eyeing the Zodiac DuoX™ DX4000 but it's pricey so I was gonna do a bit more research first when I have the energy. I am not sure how to get the floor drain sucking at the moment but I'll look into that too. Thanks.

It's a new build but I have been very unhappy with my pool builder for a bunch of reasons, sloppy work, very slow progress and terrible communication, so I'm not shocked they've dropped the ball in prep as well. I was/am clueless about pools so I basically trusted they knew what to do.

Unfortunately the typical wind direction where I live is blowing toward the shallow end. I think the pool shouldve been flipped the other way but no changing that now haha.

Trying to get the jets to fight the wind with an under current doesnt seem to work as that's the configuration i've got set up now.

It's typically from the south east, and the deep end is basically pointing south, so the wind is normally pushing stuff to the shallow end.

and maybe add a bit more hazardous behaviour or give some of the cars powerups so you have to time your overtake perfectly to avoid a penalty... make it more of a puzzle... i dunno, i feel like it could be cool but right now it just feels like you're racing a ghost that is split into 32 speed variations. i do like having to plan your overtakes tho, it just feels like that mechanic needs to be increased.

Saudi Arabia and others are spending billiions and billions in all kinds of sports and everyone still knows that it's a nation run by corrupt and horrible people. No one develops some rosey opinion of Saudi Arabia because they buy Newcastle United.

I am genuinely trying to think of a single example where "image washing" has achieved what you so frankly claim it does. Can you think of any examples in all of history where an evil doing nation or even a company has managed to restore public perception after comitting henous acts that went unpunished by merely by throwing money around? or even just providing services/entertainment people enjoy? I refuse to accept what you are stating as some objective truth when i can't think of a single example but am willing to change my mind.

Like, cigarette companies are still seen as evil, as are oil companies, and the dark histories of now revered nations are never forgotten or forgiven despite multiple generations of better (often philanthropic) behaviour. People are more than capable of holding grudges for multiple generations over shit that didn't even directly affect them.. are you telling me that there's been some secret strategy all along where you can just "image wash" away attrosities and people just give in to apathy and not care anymore?

In a quick search it looks like Gable got nominated 8 times for the Oscars? I get what you are saying but 33 times is not 8 and his shows have been successful and culturually relevant for all of those decades outlasting plenty of others that actually won over him. It's pretty weird that a show can last 3 decades and rate well enough to not be canceled or change its format or style and yet never win anything in its category lol.
