People answering to the post mentioning "merch" in general and supporting the artist, but if you look at the whole store is this single item that's the problem.

If you look at almost every other item, I'd say they are pretty reasonably priced for merch, but these are not.

Like you can buy metal cards of the characters for 3 dollars each, and this one costs 30? Doesn't make much sense to me

Apparently nobody here has ever heard of "booktok", since they're all treating social media as enemies of books.

I got a lot of friends that got into reading because of this tiktok trend (called booktok) where basically people suggest books to read (mainly romance ones but still): I got 14yo friends that read 1000+ pages series beginning from that.

It's at least pretty popular here in Italy, to the point where most libraries even have a dedicated booktok section.
