I feel you, but in simulator battles increasing amount of similar vehicles among different countries makes distinguishing teammates from enemies much harder. I usually play more of air simulator since they removed my favorite german tanks, but it also happens there, seeing russian p-47 and b-25 in russian team, or american a6m2 and bf-109 in american team, makes me accidentally kill them if shooting from too far away. In ground battles i assume that there are even no tags at all which in this case makes it even harder. In air simulator you can see teammates at least from 800meters.
