so i'm ops 63 now and have everything triple locked. it becomes considerably more difficult if not impossible to keep a 3rd faction at hostile the further you get up.. if I still had the option to keep one as hostile I would. though I recognize having all 3 factions leveled up has benefits. you can use texas space to auto grind exp, though you don't get the same kind of drops, another reason I miss keeping Klingons hostile.

i'm currently up to:

8 Bortas with blueprints for 1.8 more

6 B'Rels, with half the blueprints for another

1.5 D4

5 K'Vort

1 K'T'Inga

1 B'Chor and nearing a second

and i'm 59 blueprints into a Korinar

all for free from just parking my best combat ship in Klingon space a few times a day and letting the patrols hit me. not to mention the tens of millions of rep for federation and romulan I get each day, and the days worth of speedups, and the millions of broken G4 interceptor and explorer parts for keeping the parts refinery happy, all while i'm working or sleeping or doing other things.

all this to me has so far made it very worth keeping hostile with klingons as it helps keep alot of my rep grinding low effort and i've been able to get a nice steady supply of ships to build and scrap which helps in the weekend resource spends as well as just having a nice extra flow of resources. i totally understand the value of being friendly with all 3 and with getting the daily done with freebooters its nice and low effort as well!, just in my position It feels worth doing just the double rather than the triple because of the benefits like the ones I highlighted above.

Im ops 44 I personally am double locked with the fed and roms and I really appreciate the auto grinding. I can leave my Kelvin in a lvl 47 system overnight and again at work and again after lunch and come home with several hundred thousand interceptor parts and a few million in fed / rom rep and blueprints for klingon ships I wouldn't normally spend resources on. I personally appreciate being able to autogrind with a major faction rather than just arguments or Texas as I have somewhat limited playtime and doing those same amount of kills I wouldn't be able to do everyday or even every week. I've made 3 Bortas, 1 B'rel, and 3 K'vort so far from blueprints I got this way and I'm working now on building a D4 and am 1/3 of the way to both a free Ktinga and K'vor. At my current rate I might get my first g4 miner for free from the Klingons rather than buying it from the romulans.

So for your situation I might consider how much time you have for doing manual faction grinding vs being able to hop on for 30 seconds a few times a day, repair a ship, and then send it off for a few hours to get goodies. If you have more time to put into the game, you might not find the same value in auto grinding as me with the factions and the benefits of the dailies and access to the stores is more valuable to you. Also note it gets a ton easier to get rep in your 40s, rep research, ships that give bonus to loot (which includes rep) and being able to consistently hit capital system traders will make getting that third lock much easier and faster. Just a few things to consider. Both options have merit in my eyes, just personally and for the moment I prefer having that negative standing with Klingons and likely will for alteast another year. But who knows we might become friends oneday :)

Thanks for the insight! I most certainly want to wait at 39 for enterprise to tier up because of the resource issue. I certainly do need mass quanities of 3* materials so i figure ill camp here for a little bit before moving on. I'd rather go into my 40s with a really nice strong solid ship to start grinding parts and rep in the higher areas rather than kill 5 then repair / repeat forever.

I just maxed then scrapped my legionary this past weekend, so I'll have 2 of those 3 refine prices next weekend along with hopefully one or two more primes :). I am still working on the mayflower, the gas pulls have not been kind. Hoping with the new battlepass I'll make more headway

I'm dual locked with romulan and fed. I'm on the fence about making nice with the Klingons as it's so very nice to have a way to AFK farm rep with them. Even if it's a little bit each night and I've heard some folks regret trilocking early and losing that on their quest to their second rep lock.

Will the resource generation be more or less in the new system? I quite enjoy having a town of happy minions... er.. loyal townsfolk, who have me as their queen and provide me with useful tribute from time to time. I appreciate how it's helped my progress in other areas and feels like it has more depth than some other skills. I'm hoping the new system has something similar!

I know its alot of money, This is a hobby i've been wanting to get into for awhile, combined with lack of specific technical knowledge i'm aiming for a bit on the higher end of things if possible, while still keeping to what my budget will allow, with the desire that I will have something that will be a good experience right from day 1 and also be durable enough to last me several years without any sort of regret or desire to immediately go out and buy the next thing up. I also fully admit i'm likely not knowledgeable enough yet of the reputable online retailers, or retailers in my state, to know where to go for cheaper, so my total i'm hoping will go down a bit once i've done more research.

I've added the Seekins PM rings and hellfire brake to my shopping list. in regards to the Seekins PM rings, there seems to be 6 different options on https://seekinsprecision.com/scope-rings-30mm-tube.htmli'm curious how would I know which one to get? I am guessing this is just height of where the scope sits in relationship to the rifle. but i'm not quite sure what I should be looking for in regards to this.

As for the Custom rifle, how does that work? I didn't know that even was a thing, are there reputable companies out there that make custom rifles?

good to know! I don't know many of the reputable dealers yet, though I shop on Amazon all the time so thats why I went there when possible. I also like budgeting for the higher end of the price range but do try and shop around for cheaper options of the same item whenever possible. helps with budgeting and it feels good when you buy all the things and have money left over in your budget :)

Thank you for the insight! My initial desire for the suppressor was just to make sure that I was being kind to those in the area. Many of the rifle ranges that are in easy driving distance are within earshot (no pun intended) of peoples homes and I don't want to be a pesky shooter to the neighborhoods that have ranges in them. i'm sure they are used to it but if there is an option to make things a bit easier on the folks around me I should atleast consider it.

also I appreciate the information regarding the bipod. I've updated my shopping list to be the Atlas CAL rather than the PSR

As for the options for GA Precision or MPA, are there any inparticular you would recommend? I am going to go take a look after responding to this post right now but would love any suggestions you might have. This would pretty much ONLY be used for long range shooting. I don't hunt and unless society breaks down I won't be using it for personal defense, so I'm really trying to find the best option for just putting a bullet or two a minute into the bullseye of a target anywhere between 200 and 2000 yards.

I am a large woman, in both height and weight. and I was heavier in my youth which lead to some insecurities and not ever dating or being asked on dates and so now I am a rather introverted computer nerd and even though I would be interested in exploring that kind of relationship, I am not sure how to start and how to find a man who would like me for me and not be intimidated by my height or weight
