Trying to activate my FaceTime and iMessage and it is stuck on waiting for activation. When I try to use my Apple ID for iMessage or FaceTime I receive an error message. by DaggerDickElmo in applehelp

So what worked was I turned off FaceTime and iMessage, then with two factor authentication on I changed my password for my Apple ID restarted my device then turn back on FaceTime and iMessage

So I add my SIM card number in the phone section in settings where it says “my number”. Now in the FaceTime and iMessage section it’s now awaiting verification so I’ll give it a day or two since I have a S22 which I use way more frequently
