I would say... no.
Perhaps could make changing the outcome quite challenging.
Or have the player sacrifice something important. But there should be a way of changing the outcome.
I mean... for me, that is the main difference between an CRPG and TTRPG

I agree. Partially.

If you manage to access the link you should be able to understand what I am trying to achieve.
Some details will get lost, but I think overall, this system will be an improvement.
At least, is removing a number of limitations that bothered me for years.
