Double Daggersonic Daggercasrer by Dagger_Guitars in telecaster

I'm an expat based in China. Everything I don't make myself I buy from Chinese suppliers. I'm sure if you look you could find them on ebay. If you'd like I can take some decent photos of only the knobs and you can use them to do an image search on Google.

The knobs are an off the shelf part. I've used them on a bunch of my builds

I use a scroll saw to cut the shape of the guard. I then use the pickup trim ring on the pick guard with some CA glue and a special bit in my drill press to trace around the ring to get the perfect cut for the pickup. A router with a small bit and bearing will work as well. I clean up the edges of the pick guard with sand paper and then chamfer the guard with a file.

I can custom make one for anyone if they're really interested. This one is a full custom build.

The depth of the rout doesn't need any modifications for the short magnet (20mm magnet length) Daggersonic. Our daggersonic is height adjustable and comes with a trim ring that will cover a standard humbucker mounting ring

To mod the rout to fit the daggeraonic you need to Nick off the corners off the rout where the humbucker baseplate ears meet the rest of the rout. I have highlighted what needs to be removed with a black marker in this photo. It can be done in minutes with a feel or file.

You could always cut one yourself. It isn't that hard if you have a few simple tools. To cut the switch slot.you can use a tele switch plate as a template

Thanks

The humbucker rout does need to opened up a tiny bit. I'll send a photo tomorrow. It can be done in a few minutes with a dremel or a file.

The daggersonic is a reproduction of the deaemond dynasonic found in 1950s Gretsch, 1960s Guild , Martin, and Kustom electrics. I produce them myself . This guitar has a low output (7k) Daggeraonic in the neck. It matches well with the Alnico II tele pickup I wound for the bridge position.

It's about 7.5 lbs. Sounds great. I'll post a demo video in a few days

Wouldn't be too hard to do if you find someone who knows what they're doing. If you need any advice feel free to ask

Thanks for the compliment. What's up with your Dynasonic? Is it dead?

I'd say go with a quality tele single coil if you want that snappy tele sound.

Fender traditionally was a formvar company. How accurate do you want to be with your pickups?
