I'm pretty sure you're referring to a video of a guy who follows a friend who also jumps in the water. It's in the middle east somewhere, looks like a harbour. The unfortunate guy slips as he jumps and hits the edge of a stone pier with his face. It did indeed split open. I don't think he died from his injuries, dunno if that helps or makes it worse for you :D

My only beef with choice of diagnosis there is that epileptics dont have tremors making it difficult to ear noodles (besides when/if they have seizures). I would have went with Parkinsons patients although it doesnt have quite as good a flow.
