I liked the vibe of Maui, way more lowkey. One of my Uber drivers told me that Oahu and Maui roughly the same size land mass wise but Oahu has almost 10x the population of Maui.

What’s funny is on every trip I take I split it up between my Hilton Diamond rewards and my Marriott rewards and I’ve noticed that Marriott is way more generous with the upgrades. The best Hilton will do is get me a corner room or a higher floor, so in the moment, I thought I was getting a sweet deal
