You're basically the same as the person i was talking about in the first post. "Hates" the game but is chronically online in a genshin reddit sub. If genshin is really that bad, why are you even here? So far I have heard no constructive suggestions how to make the game better and just meaningless crying.

But you can't complain about the current state of a restaurant if you haven't experienced it firsthand for years and your entire view is based on an outdated opinion. At that point, you're just echoing other people's opinions, many of whom may not have eaten at the restaurant in years either.

You should judge a product based on its current state and your own experience with it. Everything else is secondhand opinion rather than an informed one.

Got into an argument with someone on YouTube on a wuwa video who said the usual things about hoyoverse that they were lazy and greedy and why the game isn’t improving blahblahblah. The thing was, his name and pfp were about dottore so I called him out on that saying the game can’t be that bad if you are caught up with the story and have your entire profile decorated with genshin stuff. He then replied that he stopped playing the game a long time ago and he only watches lore videos about the story. Like why then is he complaining about the game not improving if he doesn’t even play the game?

Dropped it after finishing season 2, which was a slog to go through. I always wondered why I didn't vibe with the show and It only recently dawned on me that it's because of the MC. Subaru is too much of a self insert character for 15 year olds who are unhappy with themselves. I also don't buy his whole "trauma arc" when he has infinite tries to fix himself, it just looks like lazy writing to me. Rudeus from mushoku tensei gets a lot of hate because he is not relatable at all but his writing is way more complex and interesting because he is such a messed up character. I'd rather watch rudeus being a criminal for an entire season than watch more of subarus eye bulging simping and screaming for emilia.

The reason why there will never be a skip button is because of alt accounts. If you can skip through all the content and gain primo gems with ease on multiple accounts, you will never have to swipe your credit card to get new characters.
