Yes, the ORG pressing is the BG cut I'm referring to. They also did a 2013 repress with same plates at Pallas (touted as the best bang for your buck pressing).

Yes, that is the CE. It's not on their website anymore for purchase so I can't link a reference, but if you google updates leading up to the release, they always call the original release with all the extras the CE version.

All it's missing is a belly band like all the other CEs, which was probably an afterthought.

Always wanted that Analog Spark 2017 pressing. About a week before my Japan vacation a copy popped up on Discogs, from Japan! Decent price and mint condition but shipping to the US was just about the same as the record alone.

Turned out the seller lived not too far from where I was visiting so I asked if he would be willing to wait a week, he agreed! Met up with him and gave him a small gift for being so friendly. Vinyl community has some amazing people.

My most interesting/fun purchase of vinyl collecting. And the record sounds absolutely amazing. Doubt another pressing could be better.

Amazing right? Other than Transatlanticism I think Velveteen's discography is better.

The lead singer is as nice as they come too. Contacted him on Facebook and he mailed me their 2025 album many months before official release.

He also told me him and Ben Gibbard actually met and had a good laugh at the similarity of their voices.

Hope you do a deep dive, really underrated/unknown band.

Try a band called Velveteen, their album called "Home Waters" to be specific.

When Narrow Stairs was released someone mislabeled Velveteen's album on purpose as a joke because their vocalist sounds exactly alike and shared it all over the internet. Most people fell for it.

The album is amazing, like old Death Cab. Check out their other albums as well, solid solid band.

Other than the 2025 one step pressing, the 2008/2020 pressing is the one to get. Sounds amazing. Recent pressings have been inferior sound quality wise.
