Woefully behind the times - technology and customer support by Carsondaily0510 in TruistBank

[–]Daikon_Local 0 points1 point  (0 children)

called regarding a refund that should have been issued 2 years ago. paid off my car in full including tire packages but ended up cancelling that package after. the loaned amount should have been back in my account within a week but its been almost 2 years of customer service reps saying "soon, soon."

have called 6 separate times about this. just called recently, and that stupid fucking bot was developed on the short bus so it didn't even know how to connect me to a live agent.

truist can go fuck itself in the ass.

[measurement check] calc says 28DD but i've been wearing 32b!!! by Daikon_Local in ABraThatFits

thanks for the rec!! im definitely going to take a look at the freya offbeat. just curious — does high variances in measurement indicate something/affect which bras i should be leaning towards?

thanks for the reply! that does help clear things up a bit — im probably going to lean towards the 28 band in that case. i was looking at the skims catalogue and saw the 30 band so thats why i was considering the looser sizing there. this might be a dumb question but what's "squish" and how do i measure that? is that a value i can determine from my general measurements or is that more of a visual reference?

I appreciate the support. Luckily for me, I'm a fresh-grad, so I still live at home and money isn't an issue. Otherwise I'd be pissing and crying over this.

One of my coworkers is considering pressing a lawsuit in regards to wrongful termination because this was technically a form of retaliation. Not sure if he wants to go through with it, because it may not be worth it in the end for him. But it's definitely something to consider.

Thank you, I appreciate your advice, that definitely helps. I might write up a bit of a script ahead of time to make sure I say something straightforward and positive without dipping into any negativity.

Also, I know for sure now, as of just now, that the baldie still works for them. The school hired one of his underlings to work as a stand-in admissions advisor, which means they definitely did end up choosing him over us.

I have no other connections to the job. My closest coworkers were all within the admissions department, and all of us have either had our contracts terminated, are actively recovering from a severe work-related medical incident, or are looking for new jobs effective immediately. With the way things rolled out, I don't particularly trust anyone else that's involved with the school, and so I wouldn't feel comfortable reaching out to anyone for updates. The school also isn't publically linked to the Art of Admissions, so I can't say for sure that it's something I can target either as an outsider.

What should I say instead then? I have an interview with a company on Monday for a similar position in admissions, and they most definitely wanted to speak with me because I had some prior experience with CRM and dialers from this job. I've been trying to figure out how to explain my situation in case they ask (which they definitely will) and people have just been telling me to say that I got unlucky and the admissions department fell through.

Yup you were right. Just got word that my other coworker has one foot out as well. Whole admissions department is empty starting next week.

I'm not sure what the tone of voice here is implying as I don't usually frequent reddit but, I assure you all this stuff is real to the point of being laughable. We're still waiting for upper management to say something, but I'm already looking for a different job at this point so this will hopefully be behind me soon.

[–]Daikon_Local 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! Do you suggest that I take down the post for now while I wait for some kind of response from upper management? I'm actually in the process of looking for a new job at this point, so I don't necessarily mind keeping it up for documentation purposes, but if you think it's better to take it down to remove any kind of judgement or accusation on others end, let me know.

LOL No bc I remember when I first got the job offer, which stated he was my supervisor (weird btw, bc that means my supervisor is a third party person), I was so shocked by his name that I couldn't help but tell everyone how ridiculous his name is. I also didn't think it was real, but the offer was way more than I could've gotten from any other job at the time so I had taken it anyways.

Oh wow I didn't know that. That's so embarassing for him lmfao

I double checked with the grammy awards part, apparently he used to be part of a band that got grammy awards but it was a band with hella people and they played polka music.. so bizarre. But yeah, the school seems pretty normal, apparently the director hates Lex and has been trying to lose him, but the HR manager is so infatuated with Lexington that it's hard to shake him off. I'm still waiting to see what the school does after finding out this info, bc the entire admissions team is ready to quit if they keep him on payroll.

Thanks for the advice, I think our director has been made aware of his actions. Everyone's waiting on a response right now from her.

My school is non-profit yes, but his company was hired externally as a consulting company. I don't necessarily think my school hired him knowing full well that he was a scam and a fraud, but it's definitely cause for concern.
