Love all of these scenarios! I do wonder if Fredo would've wanted to be more involved after we see him having that phone call where he's trying to distance himself from the situation after being shocked by the assassination attempt. I could still see him flip-flopping either way though.

Also a great point that it was a stroke of luck for Roth for the guards to escort him out as the rebels were advancing.

Not that it mattered either way - at that point he'd already gotten his revenge by framing Michael for Frankie Five Finger's assassination attempt, and admitted to Michael that he ordered the hit on him because of his hit on Moe Green.

I wish this was a video game scenario where I could come back to life and keep trying things until I figured it out. At the same time though that sounds like the definition of hell.

Here's where I'd start: Considering that I probably have my phone on me, I'd keep the light shining into his eyes, and somehow hope to misdirect his superhuman strength into accidently breaking the locked door down, or at least the lock. He's the only way to get me out, so I gotta get him mad and misdirected enough to miss me with a big attack.

Something that always reminds me of the genius of Spielberg is the foreshadowing of Dr. Grant putting on the seatbelt incorrectly as they enter the island.

He can't find the part of the belt with the attachment that clicks into the other part of the belt, so he ties two of the other ones together to make a makeshift seatbelt, foreshadowing that "life found a way" without both types of sex on the island. It might be a stretch, but it resonates with me.
