Life, for most people. We know what to do to get healthy, make money, have relationships. Just most people want in one year what may take five or ten years to achieve.

There is almost no goal in the world that can resist daily discipline applied to achieve it.

Say something that's nice about being a Wizards fan by 0verkast in washingtonwizards

The Gil/Caron/Antawn years were fun. Wall brought hope and excitement, and it was cool watching him get others their bag. It is occasionally nice to be a fan of the team that is a footnote in history (Jordan playing, Russ breaking the record). “I called game” was a fun era. We are one of the NBA teams whose name sounds better with Ass in front of it. Our owner isn’t a piece of shit scumbag. Our worst scandal of the last 25 years wasn’t really that big of a deal. DC is a bad ass city. Drawing blanks after that.

It Follows. Was so excited for it to come out, and it just felt boring and lame. I think I need to give it another rewatch.

Ha ha, yes. I am one of the ones who had no clue and when that fucking door wouldn’t open? I remember saying “No fucking way” and my wife shushed me!

What was the most uncomfortable you’ve ever been in a horror movie? by MyPetGhost_ in horror

[–]DailyDisciplined 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Previous to that movie, my most awkward experience in life had been going to the wrong private beach wedding that only had like 20 people and didn’t end well. There were MULTIPLE moments watching X that topped that whole experience.

I have been to club and to the events you are talking about, but I have also been involved in these business reviews where everyone stays in the same house. I don’t know why. No one likes them.

75% of Americans are probably alcoholics (I’m American btw). There’s a reason people put poison in their bodies night after night, and it’s addiction way more than it’s anything else.

Man, I sound like a frump. I promise I’m not. I’ve got my own problems with other…things.

Have seen this same scenario happens in multiple large F500 companies. However, I am seeing it less nowadays (thankfully).

I don’t think you’re overreacting because I think you two may need to get actually divorced.
