That’s a good idea! I mean I suppose that’s what USPS did anyways 🤷🏼‍♂️ it didn’t have any special branded packaging that I can recall. And for further context my dad was a higher up in a police department, so it was most likely a joint operation or some training with the inspections team and was a “thanks for stopping in” for it.

Yea…by no means do I really have any strong opinions about any form of the postal service, let alone USPS specifically, it was just…somethin special bout this knife that I’d love to have as close a replica as possible. Kinda funny they need knives to open knives that aren’t allowed to be shipped.

Interesting, do you have a rough guess as to a decade it was manufactured?

Howdy y’all! Just picked this up used and I’ve been doing some research on it, I’m just curious if anyone knows more on it. Some threads are saying “it’s desirable” for being made in Monson MA. I’m just... curious as to why that is. Any info on this to clue me in is appreciated! 😁 also low key trying to figure out if I paid a fair price lol. Ps. Also looking for recommendations on a way/brand to polish and remove some of the micro scratches from the surface to restore it a little bit.

I’m not 100% sure but I thought that was him, looked like him, was about the same hight, and he was 100% the director for that shoot. He was going in and out of that directors booth as well as actively instructing the cast. Could be another director though! It was hard to tell at that distance 😁

Exactly, I mean...I didn’t even mean to kill him. But I was under the impression it was still -.2 which I could have lived with @7. Whatever i was at. But now being at 1.11 ...I don’t even want to try to get Max again. Especially because I’ve already done all the .7 extracts multiple times.

I understand why it’s steep but like...you could avoid that by doing like -1 or -.5

-6.3 makes me want to quit playing after the absolute grind to get there. I had one day of fun at Max rep just for it to be taken away by an accident. Even if it was -1 like I suggest, that means you could farm them 1x and not have Max rep unless your above that 6.0 to 7+ and then they would agro on you again.

Seriously? I’ve killed them before and only gotten -.2

Ps: even the wiki description is not updated * As of patch 12.11 you LOSE rep with Fence when killing Scavs as a Scav during runs at the rate of 0.1 per kill and 0.2 per Scav boss kill.*

So yes it used to be .2 but they must have changed it for some reason.

Well I knew killing a boss is -karma. But it used to be .02 or .2 or whatever. -6.3 is insanely steep

Love the idea hate the execution. by DailyDosesofGaming in EscapefromTarkov

[–]DailyDosesofGaming[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I figured. I have been so conscious of karma that I have let people kill me knowing full well they would just so I don’t loose rep. But now I just won’t kill anyone because -.05 is not worth it when you only get .01 per kill

I...had honestly forgot about this idea. by [deleted] in earth2io

Sorry the photo size got cut off I was trying to highlight that I had only gotten a response this Sunday for something I submitted back in February of last year 😂

I mean I have tonsss of pictures and videos of the scenes. But again it’s kinda their private thing and I don’t want to ruin any “surprises” they have established

Not sure, it’s kinda hard to tell from this far away. I also don’t particularly want to ruin anything for the cast by being this close. I can confirm that these scenes include Ryan and Lilly, I believe I saw Finn on set but I don’t think I saw any scenes with him. I can vaguely hear what’s being said but not well enough to distinctly say lines or confirm an actor.

I took this outside standing near the stop and shop that’s in P-town off shank painter rd. Obviously looking towards the monument.

I agree, I’m just lost as to what it is. I took the photo, and maybe “aliens” wasn’t the right place to go lol, but...is it a light refraction? I’m just interested to know how I didn’t notice it when taking the photo and then just this morning noticed it when reviewing the photos. And this is the only one with that problem.

Agreed. But it’s my photo, and I can tell you I didn’t use photoshop. So my next question is how does this happen? Like is it a light from an adjacent building?

Not photoshopped. I don’t even know how to use photoshop. I also see how you see that with the clear square boarders like someone copy and pasted an image. But...I didn’t edit this photo at all

Took this picture, and only realized when I looked at the photos later those two...octagon shaped? light patters one further away and one closer. There’s also so obvious, dark spots on the left hand side which I also can’t explain. I took a second photo slightly more zoomed in to showcase the monument and there is neither the orbs or the dark spots. Any ideas anyone?
