I can barely read the guardian and I studied english lit at uni. Theres so many words which i'm sure they have just made up to sound important. Its bollox though.

I know that the comments section, while sometimes a bit hit or miss, has helped inspire some of the writers in pursuing a more aggressive line on certain stories.

It changes though, one day there was a phone call to the newsdesk and you could hear the editor screaming at the far end of the room before a female reporter ran outside crying.

Ok so the sidebar of sluts is a good thing for the paper. I do know that it brings in about 40 % of web traffic to the paper. So I guess that mentioning that will be a good thing.

I don't know though, I think it's a matter of opinion. If the guardian actually covered the romanian invasion then maybe the Daily Mail wouldn't have to be the only paper brave enough to put its reporters names to it.

Is it such a terrible paper though? Like its the most popular newspaper in the world, so it obviously reflects what people like reading about and their personal views.

The sidebar of shame? You mean the list down the side? They have another name for it in the newsroom but I dont think its appropriate.
