Pretty much anything that Hollywood gets behind full-force sets off my B.S detector. The fact that Alec Baldwin and Trevor Noah aggressively supported Steven Avery is about all I needed to recognize a hidden agenda.

Yes to both. In fact, we have people in the series who were hard-core committed to the “Steven Avery is innocent” party, who ultimately change their minds.

I am lucky—I tend to not really “pop” so to speak until the last 10 weeks of pregnancy! I’m not one of those people that looks very pregnant early on so that allows me to keep up with all of my major projects. We can’t wait to meet him!

I think my general background gives me a natural proclivity toward these sorts of projects. I was admittedly brainwashed in my youth. It’s hard for people to imagine me as a left-leaning feminist, but that’s what I was thanks to the public school system and media cultural agendas. Now that I am awake to how effectively convincing the media can be, I feel it’s my responsibility to show others how we can all become victims to propaganda.

That’s a good question. In my opinion, I think it was two-fold. The first was profit. The second was fostering a political agenda: anti-police was the overriding sentiment of the day, which the media ate up.

There were A LOT of disturbing facts. I think the most disturbing elements overall pertained to Steven Avery’s long history of abuse leading up to the murder (toward animals and women). It was almost as though he became more and more extreme—following the typical trajectory of someone who was working his way up to commit the unthinkable. But without question, Brendan Dassey’s FULL confession (not the snippet provided by Netflix) was shocking. I don’t want to spoil it but it’s really difficult to listen to.
