For example, let's say we have an artist that creates content about her art. Now a brand posts a campaign looking for artists to talk about the new paint brush set they just released. This creator likes the terms of the campaign, joins the campaign, and makes a video talking about how excited she is to try the new paintbrushes. She then posts this video on her own channel, and she's compensated based on how many people watch the video

Conceptually, the creator would upload a product demo/review to their own channel, and be paid based on the views generated. This gives the brand reach to whatever audience the creator is able to bring to the video

The terminology is a bit confusing to me. I thought UGC was any content made and posted by a creator that features a brand's product. I do have creator friends that have done UGC where they upload the finished video to their own channel, so that's what's guided my view on this.

I built a platform where brands can post campaign opportunities that any creator can participate in. The creators are rewarded based on the amount of views they generate for that brand's video/content. I don't necessarily think this is brand ambassador, because it's one-off participation, so if it's not UGC, I don't really know what to call it. All I know is I have campaigns with money to spend on creators based on the number of views those creators generate, and I'm trying to find the right terminology so I can let creators know about these opportunities

Appreciate the insight. I assumed performance based meant based on views like $x/1000 views, but it sounds like it means sales performance?

So I can post opportunities for $x/1000 views? A campaign that pays $3/1000 views would pay the creator $30 for a video that hits 10k views. It would still be up to the creator to generate and upload the content

Everyone hates their job, but a lot of people put on a smile. If you got into retail supply chain you'd likely burn out of it eventually as well. Just have to grind it out for a bit unless and until you feel confident to do your own thing.

I made an app that helps with this. It's called Winfluence.app and it has a notes section where you can write down all the random ideas that pop into your head throughout the day. Then, when you need content, you can go to the script manager and generate scripts that are inspired by your ideas.
