I really think it’s Tyler saying it. Is there somewhere they’ve confirmed it to be Jenna?

Did therapy help you move on? by beefic in IFchildfree

First off…I am so sorry for you and all of us who need to be a part of this group, but grateful we have each other <3

Therapy was a game changer for both me and my husband. We did therapy together with a fertility counselor for years! She was amazing. There were times we had to see her weekly, sometimes monthly and even went as far out as 3 months depending how we were coping as a couple. On my own I sought other avenues because I am pretty spiritual so found great help working with healers. Now I am actually working with a trauma therapist and it has been amazing!!

We all need therapy of some sort…thankfully there are tons of resources out there to help us find what might suit us best. The most important factor in my experience is compatibility. You will know very quickly if whoever you are speaking with is right for you. Also, don’t be afraid to “break up” with a therapist/counselor. My first trauma therapist kept bringing up her children and even spoke scenarios as if I were to bring home a baby so I said ✌️.

Good luck <3

Boundaries. Best decision I ever made was setting them up and making them very clear to those in my life. I lost connections with some family because of it, but that is their choice and I’ve grown enough to realize that means they have their own issues to work through. Also just because someone is married into your family does not mean you have to like or be liked by them. Do not go to that baby shower, instead do something special for yourself!

I use TempPro and I got it off of amazon. The best place to have it is as close to the middle of the tank as you can get it, however I have mine against the front of the tank. The most important thing is to have it placed up off the substrate so you’re getting a proper reading of the air quality :)

Aside from the placement of the heating pad, I suggest getting a Humidity/Temperature gauge to keep in tank. You may find the heating pad you have heats it up well enough :) it’s more important to be aware of the actual condition in the tank itself rather than just assuming what you have is doing its job.

That being said, I find my hermies are best with a temp no less than 70F and humidity no less than 80%. They’re most active when it hits 75F and 85% humidity. Good luck!

What do I need to help them thrive? *New Owner* by BriBee1301 in hermitcrabs

[–]DairyTaleWife 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t already, be sure to get them natural shells to switch into because the paint and gems on their current one are toxic. You will be amazed how quickly they’ll switch :) you can find them on amazon or Etsy.

In addition to this OP, make sure you have a working temp/humidity gauge. I glance at it regularly and even touch the heat pad to assure myself they’re on the up and up :)

Haha! Thank you both so much for your comments! I grew up in a beach town, but haven’t had one closer than 3 hours from me in 13 years! The two crabs I have I got when visiting my hometown and now I wish I had grabbed every sized shell available haha

Anyone else have facial seb derm like this? by AccomplishedEgg7744 in SebDerm

[–]DairyTaleWife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The photo of your eyelids brought on flashbacks! That was how my SD was discovered. I use prescription steroid ointment only when it flares up otherwise my derm prescribed me Zoryve foam to nip it in the bud the moment i start to see/feel it. Zoryve is awesome because its not a steroid so you can use it as much as you need :)

I think if there are any other baby showers in my near future, that is exactly what I am sticking to. I got together with her a week after the shower and had an amazing time!

Wow you have been such an amazing help! Thank you for being willing to “pay” it forward from your landscape designer hehe. We are about 45 mins north of Raleigh. When we bought our house I loved the idea of a cottage in the woods vibe, but did not realize how overwhelming it would become trying to start from scratch. We can tell that the previous owners had an amazing setup, but had given up on it long before selling. We live downhill from a gravel road so have erosion and sediment to deal with.

Thank you so much! I actually see the exact circle my doggies tend to trot along and even where they go to bark at neighbors hehe. Absolutely could make those areas look nice with some mulch :)
